The Clutch is Back

Let’s talk about clutches. Have you noticed how slowly this type of bag has taken a place in our daily wardrobe?

In the old days, clutches were used for such evening moments as Lady Diana. He was held firmly by our side while wearing a cocktail dress. How did this evening bag suddenly appear everywhere? Perhaps the greatest merit is (but not only) Bottega Veneta for creating covers that bloggers and A-listers could covet. It was hard to resist the clutch and braided clutches, most importantly, I bought two! In recent years, we have become accustomed to seeing the clutch in minimalist styles and modifications.

In other words, the increase in their popularity is not so fresh (at least in the fashion calendar). But now that we have become accustomed to seeing them for everyday use, designers and brands are experimenting even more with this type of bag!! Yes, the clutches are back this year. Just ask Y-project and their handcuffs that went down the runway a few days ago. They are back and better than ever.

Trend warning: Chain coupling

Detail. DETAIL. I can’t get tired of the Golden Gear discovered on the biggest s/S22 catwalks like Miu Miu and Fendi. Chains were attractively attached to the bags-an enormous trend prediction for this year. Favorite models like the Bottega Pouch find new textures and nuances to renew our enthusiasm. These bags will not leave in the foreseeable future, nor from my diet. Have you seen this teddy version that I wear with my winter clothes? I also have a similar link to the gold clutch below.

The clutch also had an evolutionary counterpart: the clutches on the wrist. As Loewe sees it, hands and wrists are quickly becoming the new standard instead of handles. Maybe a wrist bag comes with the ease of not having to shake around holding things. The only thing I know for sure is that a bag is much harder to lose when it’s on your wrist. What do you think of this evolution of the clutch?
